The environment surrounding automobile-related small/medium-sized manufacturers and distributors/service providers can be improved. While improvements may come from a number of areas: access to financial support, additional organizational support, consolidation through merger or acquisition, assistance with business process restructuring, or by setting a growth strategy; often, individual companies find it difficult to locate internal or external resources or networks to pursue such opportunities. If these conditions continue, they may weaken the driving forces of this national flagship industry and therefore the economic power of this country.
